END 1ST: Gophers 1, RIT 1. Gophers with a big edge on shots on goal, 16-5, but Lettieri with the only goal for Minnesota.

Gophers will start the 2nd on the PP as 21 Holland is called for elbowing/incidental contact to the head as time expired in the 1st.

Another few good chances for the Gophers on the powerplay, but RIT kills it off. Still 1-1, 17:58 remaining in the 2nd

Another penalty on RIT here, this one is elbowing on 11 Miller. Gophers with their 4th PP of the night and 8th of the weekend. 0-7 so far

Quick RIT shot off the faceoff in Gophers territory goes over Wilcox's head. Still 2-1 with 5:12 to play in the second.

Gophers go on the PK after Lettieri gets called for slashing with 4:07 to play in the second.
