No Jeff Dimmen for Maine and no defenseman to take his place due to variety of injuries to Prior, Carriere, etc.

Kyle Beattie dresses, Maine likely to use a 5-man rotation

No Dimmen tonight! Big loss before they drop the puck as Banwell and Carriere are also hurt so we're playing with 5 on a 3rd night of hockey!:mad:

The game is on the TeeVee in Northern Massachusetts.

Per Rachel Lenzi

Dimmen was on the ice for warmups but suffered an injury when he was hit from behind by Chris Auger late in last night's game

The injury is a "lower body injury" but Dimmen left the ice last night clutching his left knee

how can those two be a defensive pair? they are the ones who need to play with a defensive defenseman to cover up their blunders/turnovers.

this pairing makes absolutely no sense to me.

and also, isn't this dimmen's very first missed game since becoming a black bear?

Well they started O'Neill and Van Dyk but later on they've got Matt Mangene skating with Will. I'm guessing Will gets the most shifts among the D tonight, hence the need for him to step up his defensive game.
