Yikes! Get well soon coach. I'm surprised he'll be able to make such a quick recovery but good for him if he does.

Heart bypass surgery has become fairly routine in recent years, with very high success rates. While it sounds scary, the risks have come down a lot....

Wishing you a speedy and full recovery Jack. It sure makes it hard to dislike someone with health concerns. We want to be able to get on your case as usual. I remember when Shawn Walsh had his health problems at the end of his carreer. It was the first time it did not feel good to get on his case. We are with you on this Jack until you give the all clear. Just curious does anyone know if this problem was behind all the coughing he did behind the bench the last few years?

This isn't the way we want Jack to go out.
We prefer his exit from hockey to be the result of BC beating him into submission. :D

But, in all seriousness, here's to a speedy recovery to Coach Parker, and best wishes to the Parkers in these times.

just was looking at his incredible record but the run from 90-91 thru 97-98 was 229-65 with a NC............:eek:

Word around the campfire is the ghost of Shawn Walsh was seen leaning on his Oxygen tube during recovery!
