It wasn't technically an ENG.

Knight took the puck behind the net, dished it out to Kristo coming in from the circle, who then made a nice move sending Ginn way out of position. Kristo then skated to the slot and literally the goalie was not even in the crease. Kristo then slotted it home.

clearly the score will not be indicative of the play. This game was very lopsided less the last few minutes.

That's the game.

North Dakota starts the second half of the season with...gasp...a win.

5-2 North Dakota

SOG: 41-14 North Dakota

UND was 3-5 on the powerplay

Players of the Game: Knight for North Dakota (2-2-4) and Matt Ginn for Holy Cross. Without a stellar performance by Ginn, this one could have been very ugly. I would guess that of North Dakota's 41 shots, probably 20 or so were Grade A opportunities.

Anyway, tomorrow will be a night of flipping channels as the Vikings-Packers game is on at the same time.

Agreed. This one could have easily been 10-0, and that score would have more accurately described how close the game was.
