If it Works? I guess I'm a little less convinced of the true objective of the threads...could be my own misinterpretation I guess.
Has little to do with that thread in my estimation...and I'm not sure I'd count on that lasting forever.

Nothing lasts forever, but where there's a will there's a way. It takes two to fight...as hard as it can be sometimes I know (see NJCPolar Bear
), just try a little harder not let him get your goat. 
A little humour helps too.
Maybe the thread actually did serve as a bit of a wake-up call to tone it down a little?

We sent him off on a fishing trip because he was so stressed out / wound up about the most trivial things, he needed a mental health break. Everyone is in a better state of mind after a nice vacation.
When he gets back, maybe he'll have some big fish stories to tell us.

You mean there are still people out there who don't have goats?! Wow! Seeing as it's Earth Day and all, you really should look into getting some for yourself. You don't want to be the last one on your block to get with it.
They are much more environmentally friendly than lawnmowers for your grass, you don't have all the wasted gas and energy consumption required to produce and buy milk from the store (not to mention that goat's milk is better for you), and they can be very entertaining.....

IDK about the gas thing Trillium. Goats don't use gas but they do produce it. You remember a couple of years ago all the who ha about cows and methane gas they produce and they are a leading cause of man made or should I say bovine made global warming. We may have to consider putting goats on the enviromentally unfriendly list also.
