I still can't believe that the DVD's of the first few seasons contain parental advisory stickers. Proof positive that society is a lot wimpier today.

If you're one of those that need parental advisory stickers on Sesame Street stuff, you've already lost at life, and your kid is a couple touchdowns behind with time running out.

The day that I cannot trust Sesame Street on a young child is the day I burn my television set and never look back.

But, but...Cookie Monster smokes a pipe in Monsterpiece Theater! And he gorges on cookies and whole milk! And Mr. Hooper actually invites kids he just met into his apartment for ice cream! And kids ride bicycles without helmets! The horrors!

The scary part is, some booger-eater out there has a problem with all of that.

Again, a world where I cannot trust my children to Sesame Street is a world that I don't want to be in.

The truest thing ever spoken on Sesame Street was by Kermit:

And the best thing that Henson created was "The Muppet Show". Sesame Street was for the kids. The Muppet Show was for adults. :)

I heard they changed the name of the "Cookie" Monster to the "Veggie" Monster. Is this true?
