Re: Greatest Athlete of All Time, Round 1: Seattle Region

from the Wikipedia entry:
Cael Norman Sanderson ... is considered one of the greatest American amateur wrestlers in recent years. A 2004 Olympic champion in Athens, Greece, he went undefeated in four years of college wrestling at Iowa State University (159–0), winning four consecutive NCAA titles (1999–2002). He is the only wrestler in NCAA Division I history to go undefeated in official matches with more than 100 wins. Sports Illustrated named his college career as the second most impressive college sports feat...

If you think about how a teen-age boy of 18 develops into a young man of 22 over the course of four years, it puts into perspective just how remarkable his achievement was.

This looks like the "group of death" to me....tough draw.

BTW, thank you very much for putting this all together. I'm looking forward to seeing it play out.

I tried to make it even, but it was tough to do. I expected that there would be some regions that are tougher than others, hopefully not too much so.
