And on forward Jillian Dempsey, "Jillian Dempsey’s (past) students will be watching her from afar. The Boston native and former school teacher was drafted 66[SUP]th[/SUP] overall by Montreal — a surprise to many, including her. Dempsey is the all-time leading scorer in the PHF."

From a CBC story about young players on Windsor Southwest Wildcats, OWHL, watching the PWHL:
"Sixteen-year-old Southwest Wildcat Sophie Brush is most excited to see Natalie Spooner and Sarah Nurse play — names she says that are becoming increasingly more common in households across the country."
