Gamer Thread

Kepler

Cornell Big Red
Dr. Mrs., & I are going to a Cyanide & Happiness game party tonight.

The host is a tremendous as-sole. Like, 10x worse than I.

Anybody played? Any suggestions?

Re: Gamer Thread

Never heard of it prior to now. We like board/card games at our house though.

Machi Koro is the most recent one we bought.

Just had to look it up. Sounds/looks like it's Cards Against Humanity for their comic series. Looks hilarious.

I'd imagine one or two hands to feel out the crowd, then unleash with your worst/best. :D That's my method in CAH for new players.

Play the judge, not the cards.

We bought Moral Dilemma but never played anything. We just drank and listened to immigration lawyers (from both sides) talk about Life During Trumptime. What's going on out there is essentially Germany 1933, and d-mn to hell all the lazy-minded f-ckwits who thought this country needed "shaking up."

I had completely missed this but KSP2 got cancelled.

Happened in May. The whole gamer group.

Reports of layoffs at Intercept came to light on May 1 via a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notice (WARN) indicating that 70 people at Take-Two Interactive's office in Seattle were being put out of work. The notice indicated the action wasn't merely a staffing cut but a closure, which was effectively confirmed later in the day by a Bloomberg report saying that both Intercept Games and Roll7, the acclaimed developer of OlliOlli World and Rollerdrome, were being shuttered as part of a cost-cutting plan being implemented by Take-Two.

The company that bought them had had trouble since its founders were nailed by the SEC for defrauding their investors, so, naturally, their employees pay the price for their crimes. Capitalism is wonderful. At least this piece of sh-t is dead.
