Gagliardi’s power-play goal sends No. 3 Cornell past Princeton

Alyssa Gagliardi broke a 1–1 tie with a second-period, power-play goal, and No. 3 Cornell beat Princeton 3–1 on Friday. Rebecca Johnson added an empty-net goal with 15 seconds left for the Big Red (6–1, 5–1 ECAC Hockey), which got 17 saves from Lauren Slebodnick. Rachel Weber made 36 saves for the Tigers (4–4–1, 3–3–1). Emily Fulton gave Cornell the lead early in the second period, but Danielle DiCesare responded for Princeton.
