Yes, I'm early, but it's off to the Private school hockey championship in a few minutes, plus a visit to the bank to fund the continuing eddication of my children.

2 games on tap tonight.

Northland visits Lawrence in the MCHA 1st round
and
St. Olaf travels to Augsburg in the opening of the MIAC tournament.

The two that I'll be watching are BU @ UVM on NESN at 7:35 and the Czechs vs Canada at 9:30:)

Good crowd here at Augsburg, should be a good close game.

But like the USA vs Finland game sometimes you never know...

St Olaf draws first blood at 11:23 of the first. It's been pretty even territorially, but I'd give te edge to the Oles so far

St Olaf killed off that 5x3 as well as another that lasted over a minute.

Still 2-1 Oles to start the third

3:14 to go, same score. Neither team has had any good scoring chances the entire period, but Augsburg is starting to play with some desperation now.

Timeout St Olaf with 12:28 left in OT, and 1:07 remaining on a St Olaf power play.

Both goalies have had to stop some grade A scoring chances so far.

Lawrence defeated Northland 5-1 in an opening round MCHA game.

Anybody else watching the Augsberg video feed and noticing the scoreboard continuously turning on and off? I've been watching the clock, and it's still counting while the board isn't showing everything, but it's a very strange thing for a scoreboard to do...

I haven't noticed any problems, but then again I'm at the game ;)

Leis absolutely robbed Augsburg more than once late in the first overtime
