Since sometime yesterday, access to the forum seems slow and often times out. Anyone else having the same issue ?

BTW, subscribe to extra so advertising junk should not affect my logins.

ARE OTHER PEOPLE GETTING TIMED OUT??????

Several times now, after logging in and drafting a post, I'm informed that I'm no longer logged on and have to start all over.

Are others having this problem?

Even if you are logged out, you can log in as part of posting the post. (The system will bring you to the login query). If you login right away via that popup query, your post will be posted, or at a minimum open back up for posting. Timeouts happen to me all the time if I login without checking the "remember my login" box. If I check the "remember my login" box, never seem to timeout, or even if it does, it logs me back in automatically. If you run a limited cache history, or clear it, you need to redo the "remember" check box.

Re: Forum Speed Query

My guess is that it is running slow because everyone is logging on to see if any updates about NCAA's.

Just a thought...mine was running slow.

Re: Forum Speed Query

For me it depends on whose post is coming up. For example, at least lately, Brookyone's posts and Dave1381's posts have been painfully slow on my laptop, while on the flip side, UConnFan's and OnMAA's seem to come right up just fine! :)

I guess you could speed things up overall with a little tactical use of the ignore function. :)

Re: Forum Speed Query

Seems like the weight limit for this boat is around 100 people...then it starts to take on water. It's pretty much ground to a halt again.
