Ferris @ RPI (10/12, 10/13)

Re: Ferris @ RPI (10/12, 10/13)

Glad to give you guys a rematch. Seth and I were freshmen at Ferris in '92.

I hope this can become an annual thing.

I'm sure we'll look to try to hit most of the nWCHA teams (even if we've never played two of them, though I thought it was 3; we may have played Bemidji), but it's great to give you some games.

I thought what was interesting last year was, Seth was on the RPI bench, Bob Daniels was on the Ferris bench (who Seth played for, in Daniels' first four seasons), and Keith Sergott was one of the referees. Sergott was a classmate of Seth. And it might have been either Parents' weekend or Homecoming, I can't remember which.

We played BSU my last year in Troy, 73-74. Who haven't we faced besides Canisus and UNO, neither of which is in the nWCHA?

Edit: And we haven't faced PSU of course.

Edit^2; I forgot NMU who is nWCHA. :o

Glad we had this exhibition warm up tonight. We will need it for next week as the competition will be far superior to what we saw tonight. Encouraging that all 3 goalies got some quality time and looked solid. Offense improved as the game wore on-and we actually were able to put some bodies in front of the net in the third period. Something we rarely saw last year. Defense was adequate but i felt slight less organized than they should be and had a few lapses in judgement. Should be fun-and I hope we get good crowds for both games.

Why did I think UNO is nWCHA?

Any Ferris State fans making the trek to Troy? If so, feel free to post any questions on what to do, where to eat, and whatnot. I will try to answer any questions.

Re: Ferris @ RPI (10/12, 10/13)

Didnt SA say he would assign them for each game?
as REDaero & I pointed out on the Alumni Thread last year, Bakersfield was alternating the "A"'s towards the end of the year....wonder if SA got the idea from Eric Burgdoerfer while he was here in Aug. skating with the Engineers?

To nobody's surprise, both Nate and Paula picked FSU to sweep.

Also unsurprisingly, Paula got the score of the Ferris-Ryerson game wrong.
