And not just D1 teams. D3 teams too. And not just NCAA. Let in ACHA teams, all divisions. Create the College Hockey Cup. All games will air on ESPNU but gametimes will be one hour after the beginning of lacrosse, so all games will be preempted. Also, shootouts.

Completely agree. They should go back to 12 teams, not expand.

By the time this tournament would end, it would be time for the new college hockey season to start. There we go, no off-season!! Kidding...:)

We Michigan fans call the buckeyes, ohio. The team you mentioned we call Ohio University.

It's a Michigan thing and you just wouldn't understand ;) :p

And institute promotion/relegation like some of Europe's pro leagues. Bottom six in DI get sent back to DIII, top six in DIII get to join the big leagues.

We don't need a trophy or plaque - just send an equal split profit sharing check from the playoff revenue to all 59 teams.

Expansion by contraction. Only the auto-bids make it, conference tournaments are the de facto 2-3 rounds.

Well you obviously aren't playing to win games, so what else could they be playing for other than to steal money from good programs?

Enough of that talk. If the nWCHA teams start winning games, the fans will have to start showing up.
