It's A Great Day For Hockey
ASHLAND, Wis. (AP) - A second former Northland College hockey player has been charged in connection with a hit-and-run last month in northern Wisconsin.
WDIO-TV reports that 21-year-old Cody Longie of North Dakota faces a misdemeanor charge of resisting or obstructing an officer.
A criminal complaint says Longie was a passenger in a vehicle driven by teammate Logan Millican when it struck two people in an Ashland parking lot and fled the scene. One person was seriously injured.
Millican faces three felonies and a misdemeanor in the Dec. 12 hit-and-run incident. He's charged with hit-and-run causing great bodily harm, hit-and-run causing injury, reckless driving causing great bodily harm and reckless driving causing injury.
An email seeking comment was sent to Millican's attorney early Wednesday. Court records don't list an attorney for Longie.
Northland College says Longie and Millican no longer attend the school.
