Kyle Essery’s goal midway through the third period broke a 2–2 tie and helped St. Lawrence force a deciding third game of an ECAC Hockey first-round series with a 3–2 victory over Princeton on Saturday. Greg Carey scored twice for the Saints (11–20–5), who got 28 saves from Matt Weninger. Rob Kleebaum and Andrew Calof scored for Princeton (17–12–2).
