Agreed. Question - was it their own jitters or did WEC take them off their game? I suspect more of the latter...WEC looks like a very tough team to beat.

Congrats to Eau Claire! I'm excited for the game. Congrats to Utica. I've always been on their program's balls because of their lack of success in conference/playoffs. It's good to see they're finally making progress.

Double post:

The NCAA needs to stop not counting out of region games for initial NCAA criteria. Some of the best games I've ever seen are inter-regional games. I'd love to see some of the great teams from each region play in regular season tournaments/trips.

EC is good no question, if you play with them and maintain your composure stay within your game they can be beat. Stephenson is good but you have to make him work and not just shoot in into his chest. Take the shots that can give you the rebound opportunities. Should be a great game tomorrow.

If WEC gives ups 6 power plays tomorrow, they could be in a world of hurt.

Everyone is not a bum, and the refs called a good game (x2). This is the NCAA's best, and no matter how great your team is, they can lose at any time.
