The 10th annual ECAC-West Pick 'em, the original D-III pick 'em game.

I just wanted to get this game started early because if you miss the first week you are at a real disadvantage.

Last year ECfansince'84 and fbushey become our first co-champions!
What will this year bring? Will ECfansince'84 and/or fbushey repeat? Will smbenny or kimmerdog become our first three time winner? Will you become next winner of the most prized pick 'em championship? Will you become the 10th annual ECAC-West Pick 'em champion, the champion of the original D-III pick 'em game? Good luck to all!

Special Exhibition Attendance Contest: We don't predict Exhibition games here at ECAC-West Pick 'em, the original D-III pick 'em game. However this week we have a special contest! Guess the official attendance for the following game. I will give the closest 1/4 of you 3 points, give the next 1/4 of you 2 points, the third 1/4 of you 1 point and bottom 1/4 of you get zip, nada, zilch, and/or an empty beer cup.

No, since I am from Atlanta I thought I might go with the same number that might show for a Thrasher game. Since they are gone and no one seems to miss them Utica might draw more so I will change my pick and go with 352. :) I just can't believe more that 400-500 would show to see Royal Military play.

Please. A very small fraction of Utica's attendance is there to see Utica OR their opponents. They're there because it's hockey and they sell beer.

They could be playing Trinidad & Tobago national soccer team in a game of hockey... so long as there's beer, the people of Utica will be there.

Forgot about the beer factor- how about my guess goes to how many people are left after beer sales end.:)

Must be exact to get the points?
+/- a certain value to get a certain number of points?
Price is Right: Closest without going over is the only one who gets bonus points?</strike>

Just thought;), How about posting the previous weeks results in the next week's thread, for example, week 1 standings would be first post in week 2 schedule, that way we won't need to go back to the original post which can get lost on occasion due to the high number of threads as the season progresses.

For the Week 2 thread, post #1 will be the new schedule and the "previous week's standings go into post #2." whenever I get around to doing them. (See post #2 this thread) ;)

Or do you mean, who won and the score?.....which any true D-III fan would already know. :p
