Yes ECAC Hockey Fans, back by popular demand (I Hope) is your ECAC Pick The Standings Contest for 2011-2012.
Go Puckman is the defending champion in the contest. The contest is easy. Pick the ECAC Standings at the end of the 2011-2012 season in order from 1-12 (no ties). Playoff seedings determine the position of the teams incase of a regular season tie. You accumulate points based on the difference squared of the position you pick for each team vs the teams actual finish. If you pick RPI first and they finish first you accumulate 0 points. If they finish 2nd, you accumulate 1 point, 3rd 4 points, 4th 9 points etc. LOWEST SCORE IS THE WINNER . You have until the puck drops on the first League game at 7PM on Tuesday night November 1 when the Quinnipiac Bobcats go to Hobey Baker Rink to play the Princeton Tigers.
Tie breakers are:
Pick correctly the ECACHL Regular Season Champ.
Have the most teams in the correct order of finish.
Have the most top 6 teams in the correct order of finish.
I will flip a coin .
You can change your picks at any time up till the drop of the puck of the first league game, however DO NOT EDIT THE ORIGINAL PICKS . Just put up a new post with your change.
Good luck to all.
