The Colgate recap says that they're the 2nd team in league history to win 4 championships in a row! The 1st was Providence from 1992 to 1995.

The game was scoreless, a close matchup, almost halfway through the 3rd period. At that point on a rush, Madeline Palumbo got her shot to deflect high off Michelle Pasiechnyk and bounce in maybe off a Clarkson skater, putting Colgate up 1-0.

Colgate took control for a while after that, including with a power play. Clarkson pulled Pasiechnyk for the extra attacker with under 2 mins left. Twenty seconds afterward, over the red line, Sara Stewart got the puck to Elyssa Biederman - who moved in and tapped it into the empty net. Pasiechnyk was pulled again for the extra attacker; with less than a min left, Emma Pais added another empty-netter making it 3-0.

Colgate centers Danielle Serdachny and Kristyna Kaltounkova played very well, each with an assist on the night. Clarkson had chances too, especially in the 1st and 2nd periods, including from Nicole Gosling shots from the blue line. The ECAC championship team included Haley Winn and Sena Catterall of Clarkson; Danielle Serdachny of Colgate, and who else - they didn't announce it on the stream? Gate goalie Kayle Osborne was tournament MVP. The Raiders are now 31-6-1, and the Golden Knights 32-4-2.
