Sorry, Jerry...the hawk is all yours! Let hawk know that I am not aware of any conference or division of NCAA athletics where the players have any say in season length.:confused:

As for what players want for season length I can't say. I know of 3 Midd hockey players that are still playing Fall sports, among them Nick Resor (football) and the team's 2009-2010 leading scorer Martin Drolet (soccer). Moments ago Midd won the NESCAC men's soccer title on PK's so, given the protracted NCAA soccer playoffs, we are unlilkely to see Drolet on the ice until after the new year. (sorry, no emoticon for mixed emotions!)
