Big series for both teams! I'm glad tonight's game is on National TV. Let's hope the extra day of rest for half the team will help them come out with energy:eek:

Big series for more than just two teams. I know it's a huge outside shot but could help some teams that couldn't take care of business themselves get home ice.

That sucks!!! I just know the game will get ruined because the announcers at the Ralph will give me a score before I get home. :D

As a matter of fact. I'm hoping that You guys get swept while we dispose of Mankato. Sorry guys.

Well we do have to come out with energy/intensity and play our game in order to come out of Omaha with enough points to secure 3rd....

Shameful performance by our guys last night, which I summarized in the UNO thread.

Kudos to DU for being the first team I have seen in quite some time completely shut us down and totally control play, pretty much, the whole game. However, I also think you had some aid and comfort from the enemy. I can't remember the last time I saw a more ridiculous looking power play than UNO's was last night. 3 total shots on goal in 4 power play opportunities? Are you kiddin' me? The NBC announcers were openly sneering at UNO's dump and chase tactics on the PP. It almost looked like UNO was trying to purposely get the puck to somebody in a DU uniform so DU could clear it down the ice, at times. God awful. Killing penalties is easy when the opponent makes it so.

That was the best performance by any team against us I have seen all year. Hopefully, tonight's another night.
