Syracuse outshot Union 18–1 in the second period and got a go-ahead goal by Lisa Mullan in a 3–1 victory over Union on Friday. Christina LaCombe and Megan Skelly (empty net) also scored for the Orange (3–2-1), who got 12 saves from Steph Jones. Lauren Cromartie scored for Union (1–4) in the third period, cutting Syracuse’s lead to one. Kate Gallagher made 24 saves for the Dutchwomen.
