DiGirolamo shutout carries New Hampshire past Massachusetts-Lowell

Matt DiGirolamo made 12 of his 25 saves in the third period to seal New Hampshire’s 3–0 victory over Massachusetts-Lowell on Thursday. Brett Kostolansky’s first-period goal was all the Wildcats (8–2–4, 6–1–2 Hockey East) needed thanks to DiGirolamo’s second collegiate shutout. Stevie Moses and Mike Sislo added goals in the second period for New Hampshire. Doug Carr made 26 saves for the River Hawks (2–11–2, 2–9).
