Thing that sucks is these guys are clearly so much better than we are, but we were hanging in there until a few boneheaded plays in a short span. Can't do that on the road. Boring games are perfectly ok on the road. The opportunities are so few in a series like this, especially going against an opponent who is undefeated on Saturdays and smells blood.
Too bad to have this result given the events of the day and Carle's coaching debut.

Sure let those "boys" hang around though if that's the case. Still not a bad coaching debut for David Carle. Huge respect to pull the goalie as early as he did. Generated some very good chances out of it.
@Vizoroo: I don't know why I found it so funny but I got a good chuckle from you calling Drake, "Caligula"
Tomorrows game is going to be even closer I fear. I wouldnt mind if UND puts a clinic on DU though!

To answer your question with a question...So the D-man meant to throw the GWG into his own net on purpose? It's a tough play but calling it dumb makes it sound like that was his plan all along.

OK...he showed an utter lack of awareness in where he was on the ice, while displaying a keen naïveté as to the location of the net in an important situation...instead of dumb. Does that suit you?
