Very disappointing effort. We proved tonight why we aren't a top 20 team. Missed open nets and turnover after turnover. Can't believe how many times our guys get stripped of the puck. We made Buffalo look like Ken Dryden.

I know that, I was a student at the time and at that game. But Cornell didn't lose many back then.

Lost 7-2 and 8-1 in the other two meetings, one at Lynah, one at RPI

The common thought is that had we not defeated Cornell in that game, RPI would not have a D-I team now (and Union wouldn't either, since they would have had no reason to keep up with us).

For the record, we also lost to him in a Freshman game early in the 65-66 season to Cornell with Dryden.
