D3 Frozen Four History

Hey, I'm working on a project, and trying to identify all of the D3 Frozen Four participants since the beginning ('83-'84).

The title game participants are easy to find, but I haven't found a source that shows the full FF field. I've managed to piece together most of the recent history through online results/brackets, and have had to dive into old media guides to patchwork the rest. Right now the last hole I need to fill is '94-'95, '95-'96, and '96-'97. Middlebury won all three and I know the runner-ups, but need the 3rd/4th place teams. Any help would be awesome.

You need to go to NCAA.com or .org and find a copy of the Final Four program. That has the history and fields.

TWeaverUWSP93, thanks! This is great. Now I just need the other '97 semifinalist besides Norwich.

I knew a bunch of WIAC teams were in the tournament in that time period, but I wasn't able to find many media guides for those teams that had the information I needed. Same for Middlebury. Your source is perfect. Exactly the kind of thing I was looking for.

joecct, great idea. That will be my next step if I can't find the last piece of info I need.

One thing to note......For Historical purposes only...............the 2006 Frozen Four won by Middlebury in Elmira was played at First Arena in downtown Elmira not at the Domes where EC plays it's home games. The 1988 and 1991 Frozen Fours were played at the Domes.
