Gillam in goal for the Big Red. He's working on 4+ periods of shutout. Unfortunately the Big Red are working on 145+ minutes of being shut out.:eek:

I found this out when I got a text from my brother who is at the game saying "Woohoo we scored and it's now 2-0" ...Meanwhile, I'm watching on my TV and it's still 1-0 ... Oops! :eek:

The Saints look very impressive so far in this one! The best I have seen them play in awhile, probably all season!

Delayed interference penalty on St. Lawrence. Cornell PP. 1:17 left in 1st.

Cornell has started mixing up its lines.

They have certainly looked quite good. Controlled the early and late part of the period, although Cornell did look decent in the middle stretch and a flurry on the late PP.

Little chilly in the rink tonight, but no pep band!

No pep band is always a bonus ... It also looks quite empty in there too, it could just be the lack of students? ... I agree with everything else you have said as we did look great, but there were a couple of stretches where Cornell put the pressure on. Considering the recent mid-season struggles (once again!) I am very pleased to see this!

Gillam forced to make 3-4 good saves as the Saints swarm the net ... 18:07 left in the 2nd period now

15:00 left in the 2nd now as the Saints are starting to apply quite a bit of pressure on the Cornell goal ... Still a 2-0 Saints lead!
