Congratulations St Louis Cardinals, National League Champions

Re: Congratulations St Louis Cardinals, National League Champions

No congrats from me. Classless jerks like LaRussa don't ever get well wishes from me.

Of all *ing teams.

I hope Texas throttles them.

I won't watch a single pitch of the World Series. As far as I'm concerned the baseball season ended about 30 minutes ago. I do hope to hear about a Rangers sweep with big wins in every game.

I agree. No way I'd congratulate Tony LaRussa.

I posted this as Braun was sliding into first when Pinole hurt himself...

I don't know if it works intentionally.

Never works intentionally.

Fox is thanking their lucky stars today, though. Texas/Milwaukee would have threatened to be a ratings floor. This won't be a WS for the ages as ratings go, but St. Louis at least has a pretty widely cast fanbase.

It could end up being a very entertaining series. I am not sure how many fans were rooting against a Phillies-Yankees series but from much of the posting on this board there were a lot of them. I am not basically a baseball fan but if had to choose, would usually root for an NL team since i am one of those traditionalists who likes baseball the old fashioned way without a DH.:)
