Colgate @ RPI 1-6-23 We start a new year!

It is 2023. No more excuses. Either we start to show that we have something to build on - or we just do not have what many of us think we have. Home ice just has to mean something and this weekend we need to prove it! Go Red!!!!!!!!!

What about the law of averages?

With my 0-5 lifetime record, I shouldn’t be starting any either.

One thing that has to improve this weekend are the special teams. Since the second Alaska game, RPI has given up 11 PPG in their last 28 kills (almost a 40% failure) while with the exception of the Princeton game when they scored 3 PPG’s in the final 3 minutes, RPI has gone 1 for their last 18 opportunities.
if they’re going to try to make a move to get into the top half of the ECAC standings, it’s time to start NOW. LGR!

Two tough opponents this weekend but can't afford to lose both. Let's go red

The women have an even steeper hill to climb. Sitting in last place in the ECAC and on the road, tonight against #6 Colgate, tomorrow #10 Cornell.

The women played a very physical first period against Colgate, survived a couple of PKs, and are 0-0 after one.
