Colby hires new assistant coach

Portland, ME - Recently hired Colby College head coach Blaise MacDonald is busy filling out his coaching staff.

He didn’t have to look very far for his first hire as Colby College announced on Monday that Chris Hall has been named as the new assistant coach for the men’s hockey team.

With an interim coach all last season, I'm wondering what took so long to hire a head coach. The new coach is in the same spot the interim was in last year, getting off to a late start. I can't imagine how the recruiting went. Good luck to him. NESCAC is too competitive a league to be starting out this way.
