You're not kidding its unusual. If you had told me that a Clarkson player got drafted, he wouldn't have been near the top or middle of my list. Hopefully Garth Snow knows something that we haven't yet seen.

Wow, this is crazy... there must be something more to this story. Clarkson certainly has some very talented players, some of whom could have been drafted, but a third string goalie with relatively unimpressive stats?
What gives here?

Clarkson having other players that "deserve" to be drafted ahead of him has no relevence. It isn't like the Islanders were going to for sure draft someone from Clarkson and passed up on his teammates for a reason. Snow wanted a goalie, and was really looking outside the box for one. I hope he one day makes an NHL roster despite the scouts thinking he didn't deserve to be drafted.

Does that mean someone from the Flyers (inviting him to free agent camp) and the Islanders did the dad a favor ? ? ? One team, I could see....two NHL teams????? Something is missing.
