The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Once again, RPI makes it more difficult than it had to be.
I will be in Boston on Friday and hope they play a better game against Harvard.
A three point weekend that felt more like a one point weekend.
A bit of a disconcerting win. We were the better team all night but just could not put them away. We took too any penalties and just could not finish off some great chances. A win is a win and we needed this-but if we play like this we will have a lot of work to do to be a bye team and reach the top 4 in the ECAC.
We've learned over the past 6-7 years how hard it is to win hockey games in the ECAC. I'm just glad to be on the other side of the equation now. The fact is, we haven't lost two games in a row since Christmas and we're in February. Furthermore, we went into the break a game under .500 - we're now 2 games over. That's something we haven't been able to say that in a long, long time.
Bottom line, every kid playing hockey in the ECAC has been one of the best on their team for the whole lives up until now. Coming out on the good side of games against teams with players like that means a lot, regardless of ECAC record.
Kotyra was AWFUL that game. One of my friends actually yelled something into the tunnel at the end. But, like the captain says, "They don't ask how, they ask how many."
We of course had to give the clarkson band "appropriate love" for breaking NCAA rules.
