Ralph, it makes no difference to me, but it seems that you still have 2 points for a win in this years posting standings.
If the team gets three points for a win in regulation, shouldn't we get the same.
That would raise everyone's point totals for this year.

I certainly could, but that would make this year more valuable than previous years in the totals. To be honest, my stat keeping probably outlived its usefulness many years ago.

BTW, is there a Cross of Potsdam also? ;-)

If there is one, then we currently possess it. Now, we have to try to defend it tonight. LGR!
 
We did play fairly well for most of the game last night but consider the ranking of the competition. i could not help but notice that our boys banged into each other 3 times last night, once resulting in a rush up ice and a goal against on a breakaway. Should simply never happen and certainly the game would have been a tad easier if we did not have to come back from that. The two on one short handed against us also should not happen, but those things just do once in a while and might be excused. We did benefit though from a couple fortuitous bounces of the puck for a couple goals so perhaps the hockey gods looked to even it all out.
Love when Hotson and Tinling are out there together. Brackett and Payant can simply fly and keep the opposition having to keep a step back at times. Sutter had a very good game but I really think he can do that virtually every night so I was not surprised at all. Face offs, special teams, and defense communicating and covering for each other is the key. we succeed with those things and we are a middle to top half ECAC team capable of staying with virtually anyone. If we fail on any of those, we just have not shown the offensive depth to make amends. Obviously would love to see the win tonight to sweep (which could have happened in the North Country but didn't) but this one will be tougher against a somewhat higher ranked team.
BTW-some really good thoughts to the girls for getting their game to a 1 goal game (2-1) late in the third period against arguably one of the top teams in the country with perhaps the best defense around. Outshot by a mile, giving away considerable power play time, and out muscled for much of the game, they still had a real chance until Clarkson got their third goal with a couple minutes to play.
