Christmas trees over the internet

Patman

Rodent of Unusual Size
Alright. This is my first holiday season without a car. While there's quite a few things you can still do without a car getting large packages is not one of them.

I was wondering if you or somebody you knew had ever bought a (fake) Christmas tree on the internet and how it went. I hate doing things blind and without feedback but I figure this is fairly obscure and hell, this might get 0 responses. Still, if you know anything then let me know. City living is certainly different.

I'd start with Amazon, since the reviews tend to be pretty honest and product offerings can be pretty good.

You could go to a store find one you like then go back home and order it online

ah, the joys of being in DC is there's only one retail store (Target, Columbia Heights) on the subway system... if I can find other options I'll definitely explore them. I tend to like to get things up before thanksgiving.
