CHA monthly awards for October 2016:

Penn State's senior captain Laura Bowman was named Player of the Month, and Penn State's freshman goalie Daniela Paniccia was named Goalie of the Month. Paniccia was also named Rookie of the Week on October 24, and Goalie of the Week on October 31.

Penn State also had two other conference weekly award winners in October. Senior Amy Petersen was named Player of the Week twice, on October 10 and October 31, and freshman Brooke Madsen was named Rookie of the Week on October 10.

Robert Morris University also has done very well in the CHA awards for October 2016 earning awards every week of the month!

Freshman Jaycee Gebhard was named CHA Rookie of the month and also Rookie of the Week on October 3. Senior Goalie Jessica Dodds named Goalie of the Week October 10; Redshirt Junior Brittany Howard was named CHA Player of the Week October 3 and October 17; Sophomore Amber Rennie named CHA Player of the Week October 24; and Freshman Aneta Ledlova named Rookie of the Week October 31
