Celly League Summer Hockey

For those of us missing hockey, this summer there will be a league for D1 and Professional women's hockey players who graduated from a MN High School. The league announced it has players from all D1 conferences and both professional leagues. No idea how many teams yet.

Kind of interesting. Follow on Insta (summercellyleague) or Twitter (@Cellyleague). They are announcing players and looks like a good variety. Gives players a chance to play with old friends.

Minnesota hockey. We really are the state of hockey. I don't recall where on the forum someone spoke about how winter ice makes for a better hockey tradition, (and with climate change that is much more iffy), but there is so much hockey to absorb if you live in Minnesota. Thanks for the link.

Quite right. The heart of hockey geographically. My coworkers used to tease me when they found out I was a hockey fan. "Don't you know how that sport started? Two hungry lumberjacks were fighting over a dead beaver on a frozen lake."

I had not heard that one before, but people sure liked to tease lumberjacks.
