The CCHA Playoffs begin this weekend. As you know the top five teams receive a first round bye. The bottom six teams will play and will reseed for the next rounds. Your picks must represent who goes on to the next round regardless of who they face. Points will be awarded for each correct pick in that round. Tiebreakers will be total goals in the finals and then total penalty minutes in the consolation game. Please submit your choices by naming the winners for each round.

The second CCCP Playoff is a head to head competition between the top eleven finishers over the regular season. We'll run this just like the CCHA Playoffs. The top five receive a bye this week while 6 vs. 11, 7 vs. 10, and 8 vs. 9. Winners of round 1 will be reseeded and play against the first three seeds. Semifinals will be reseeded with highest remaining seed vs. lowest remaining seed, etc.,

Winners will be determined as follows:
1. Most correct winning teams in the round
2. Most correct number of games played in the round (round 1 & 2 only)
3. Most correct total goals predicted
4. Closest to total goals scored
5. under total goals > over total goals
6. Coin toss

weird, every time I see the name of this thread, I see the old soviet hockey jerseys with the CCCP across the front, and I imagine what kind of playoffs they'd have had....
