A giveaway results in a 6-2 score for the Mavs. Goal by Walters. I'd be looking to pull Thornburg if I were Owens, who has called a time out. The CC defense are pretty bad, but Thornburg doesn't look very sharp and really mishandled the puck on that 5th goal.

The Tigers are being outworked and outhustled. UNO just hit a pipe, and this could easily be 8-2 right now. The UNO defense is stifling and CC just can't get anything going, and the CC defense is a sieve tonight. Gee, they kinda look like UAA! UNO going on the pp with a minute left in the 2nd.

Well, CC isn't giving up. They score a shorty to cut the lead in half, 6-3, with just 8 seconds left in the 2nd. Mavs will have a minute of pp to start the 3rd.
