Not saying they're a bad team at all. In fact, I expect Vermont to be a TUC come selection day, but Plante is right. We expect more from a team that took 4 of 6 from an underachieving Gopher team, and highly ranked Sioux and Pioneer teams. Especially considering that the Dogs should have gotten 5 out of the 6 games as they had a legit chance to win the Friday Sioux game and let it get away.

I can understand that but saying a team "we should beat" vs a team "we need to beat" changes how you view UVM...
If I said before we "should beat UMD" you can understand how it sounds..but it's all good. I appreciate the explanation.

I would be surprised if you didn't expect a win in the championship game in your own barn regardless of the opponent.
