Sometimes I wonder how good any given UNH team would be if they had a real coach. Congrats to UVM, of course, but for $400,000 I'd think someone out there could do a better job for UNH, maybe even pose a threat on the power play. Umile is a dolt.

There are 16 spots with two auto bids that have been or will be used, meaning the top 14 still has a chance barring no upset wins in the remaining tournaments. Also, a lot can happen so close to the bubble next week.

Both Michigan and UML have the opportunity to improve, while UNH does not...

Also, barring any more (UAH winning the CHA) upset tournament wins, Vermont and UNH are both 3 points ahead of UMD and Michigan and tied for 13th. It will take a lot for those two to gain 3 points. I really think you just need to hope neither of them wins their tournament.

UVM is 2-1 vs. BC this season, including a win at Conte Forum.

UMD jumped al the way to 11th in the PWR after beating CC, bumping UNH to the bad side of the bubble at 15th.
