Canisius scores two quick goals to tie it at 3 with 3 minutes left in the 2nd.

Monardo scores early in the third making it 4-3 ... Canisius scores making it 4-4 ... and now Cooper scores again and it's 5-4.

Personally, I don't think Paul VanWaggoner shows ANY excitement for the opponents goals (something Crawford always did) .... and I've missed at least 3 of their scores .... in other words, I didn't even realize they had scored a goal!

I've done that too. All of a sudden he said it was 3-3 and I thought it was still 3-1!

I think he is doing a pretty good job overall though.

At the same time though Crawford got so excited sometimes when the other team scored that I thought we did and I would go from excited to angry in the blink of an eye.

Yes, he is doing a great job. I just wish he could show a little more enthusiasm for the other team's goals. Makes it easier to follow!

Aha! But if WE scored, you always heard the tell-tale foghorn blow in the background!

Yeah, you have a point there. I wasn't thinking of the away games. You are absolutely right. I remember listening to Crawford many-a-time and thinking we had scored when in fact it was the opponent's goal.
