I remember something about a college hockey video game that's coming out........

EA would be reluctant to add the NCAA with this lawsuit still pending. In the Canadian leagues the players can get a cut for being featured in the game. They can't do that with the NCAA teams or USHL teams if the players want to keep NCAA eligibility. So until this lawsuit gets resolved EA or any video game manufacturer won't touch college hockey.

They could get a cut but they will not be getting one. The CHL sees this as a marketing tool.
The players in the CHL are considered pros and while NHL players do receive royalties for the use of their name and likeness in the game, the junior players will not get paid for appearing in NHL 11.
