Wow, those Hockey East playoff ads are bad! "WHERE TEN . . . . . . BECOME ONE!" Sounds like all the teams learn to work together to defeat . . . I dunno, The Commies.

Goal? Under review. Shot got behind the goalie, hit the post, and stopped right on the line. Goalie tried to quickly cover it up but whiffed (!) and BU dove in to tap it over. Looks good on review.

The announcers say it's a "goal" because it hit the padding. Does it cross the line? Not sure. But I'm not sure if it'll be covered up. If it doesn't cross the line, the "ref's whistle" will mean that no matter what Madore does (or not do), it wasn't knocked in.

I"m not sure if I can fault Hohmann (sp?) for raising his stick, then going "oh no!" and diving for it. I'd like to see him try and tap it in no matter what.

I don't even care if they didn't call the original a goal. Why the f did Bunyon blow the whistle? Should be a goal either way. The way it's going, looks like they're gonna wave it off.

I think it looked like Madore was going to cover up that puck just sitting there on the line, he swipes his glove and you see the puck disappear under the glove, and you raise you whistle and blow. But in the time it takes to blow the whistle, Madore has totally whiffed on the puck, leaving it open for Hohmann to poke it in. (I dunno. I'm just talking. :p)

I know I've said this before, but Cisse is impressive at times. He's not a Kreider, but he can stickhandle well.

That looked like a two minute penalty to me due to the fact the defender didn't skate in and make a hit. He was already there, standing behind the player.

Well I don't know what's happened, but I was away for just a bit, and now it's

BU 2
UVM 0

and a 5 min major on UVM.

And a quick goal for BU!

UVM 0

And that was another one where Madore had the puck and somehow didn't completely cover it up. That play looked over, and suddenly there's the puck sitting out alone, easy to poke in.

The refs are giving out 5 min majors for hitting from behind very very quickly this year. I suppose at least they have been consistent about it... but I have to say I've seen a number where I was left scratching my head wondering if that was really a 5 min...
