BSU is playing their best hockey of the season, winners of 5 of their last 7. Huntsville has struggled all year. Is this the last ever trip for BSU to the VonBraun Center? Who hates Huntsville?

Geof, I would love to make it down there for the games and some warmth. This morning we were at -15 F with a nice little breeze. The roads around here are ice rinks after the New Year's Weekend rain, that changed to freezing rain, that changed to 10 inches of snow. Sand and salt just don't work on the road when it is this cold.

But the $$$$ just aren't going to allow it......... :(

Huntsville is one of the longer (ie., flying) road trips I might be able to get my wife to commit to, just because it could mean a warmer climate in winter. Hopefully the Beavers and Chargers can keep this series going.

I just went to Orbitz and looked to see what short notice tickets would run. It is cheaper to fly into Huntsville ($425) this weekend from MSP than Nashville ($500+). And Atlanta was only a little cheaper, coming in at $394.

And yes, the Millsys are good, thanks for asking! Hope all is well down there as well (minus the unemployment of course. Been there, done that, not fun)!

Edit: I hate Huntsville! ;)

Hate to say this to you Millsy...NOT!!! But I just got back from the golf course. Had to sneak in a quick 18 while the weather was in the mid 50's...:D:D:D

Yeah, too bad you can't make it down. We haven't shared a beer... or should I say a Crown... in a long time. You take care of that family now. Hope the Beaver series continues for a long time... and we get competitive once again...:(

Our plight reminds me of that Boll Weevil song... lookin' for a home... gotta have a home...:rolleyes:

What time are the games this weekend? I have seen 7:05 - 7:05, but I have also seen 7:05 - 3:05......

Serratore will grace us with his usual good humor, analysis of his team, and some good anecdotes Friday at the Coach's Luncheon. He's always a good speaker.

It's 7&3 because of a scheduling conflict with the semi-pro clowns.

As for Tom tomorrow, I think I'm going to stay quiet through the entire Q&A and wait for him to call upon me. He will.

Thanks Geof. I figured it probably was those times and I figured it probably had to do with the Clowns in question.

Man, I wish I could be at that luncheon and listen to that conversation!

BSU really should sweep Alabama, but being they they have played this season, you never know.
