Re: Brown vs Yale 12/1
Sorry that I did not get back to you guys, I was too busy watching a VERY entertaining and hard fought game. Brown took it to Yale physically all night and basically never let up. They had Yale on the ropes most of the game and were terrors down deep. Both teams were very lucky to escape serious injury with the amount of checking going on, which invariably ended up with two opposing players nursing wounds in the neutral zone and an odd man rush towards which ever goalie was disadvantaged. I would have to say that the star of the game was Yale's Malcolm in net, he single handedly kept Yale in the game, especially in the second and third. I have to say that Farnham was the second best player on the ice tonight behind MacLellan, he needs to stop trying to be the next Harry Z though, much more talented, and hurt his team with stupid penalties. As for Yale the returned presence on Miller on O'Neil's line was also a difference maker for Yale. The Yale forecheck in the third also created some nice goals. Yales defense is still lacking behind the their own net and in the corners, I think it is more of a size thing than a talent level, we just do not have enough big bangers for the corners.
