Let's go RED!

RPI needs to duplicate their effort from tonight and take it to the Bears. Hard.

Re: Brown @ RPI: Game 3

Go Red! Make Game 3 ours and look forward to Spring Break practices at HFH. Thanks, efh, for your references to the level of play changing during the game. It sounded like that on werpi and it's a welcome development... sometimes that 'extra gear' is just what is needed during the playoffs.

Re: Brown @ RPI: Game 3

What an honor to have this thread posted by the confirmed fattest man in board history.

The team executed well in the 2nd and 3rd periods last night. If they do it again tonight, they should do OK.

Re: Brown @ RPI: Game 3

Since practically no one has been going to HFH, I will be making the trip.

There is no tomorrow.

LET'S GO RED!

Re: Brown @ RPI: Game 3

As RC said-if we play like we did the 2nd and 3rd periods of last night-we shold be fine. I don't think the boys are ready for this season to end. I know I'm not. Post good notes everyone-I will miss at least the early part of this game. Let's Go Red!!!

Re: Brown @ RPI: Game 3

Let's see if Appert keeps the same lines as yesterday. My guess is yes.
Can't wait to see tonights game. Stay out of the box, shoot the puck, get rebounds, finish checks, and play smart. Go red!

Re: Brown @ RPI: Game 3

Last night for the Seniors at HFC no matter what. :( Let's go out with a big bang. Nobody wants this ride to end yet. GO RED!

LET'S GO RED!

Since my appearence brought an Engineer victory, I have decided to take the trip up to Troy again tonight. Will get a ticket in section 9.
Would love to meet any members of the board.
I will be at the "Engineers in the NHL" display during both intermissions, wearing a grey sweatshirt with puckman on the chest.
Come by and say hello. I will answer to Mike if Engineer Hockey Fan is too much.
Hope to see you all tonight.

Re: Brown @ RPI: Game 3

I think George S. Patton described best what needs to happen for RPI tonight: "..there is only attack and attack and attack some more."

Lets go Red.

Re: Brown @ RPI: Game 3

Tonight, we are all Clarkson, and Dartmouth fans.
JMO, I would like to avoid Starr at all costs, RPI has had no luck there in recent years, so ill be rooting for SLU tonight. Of course we need to win our game tonight first but just imagine the possibility of a Union/RPI series next weekend to decide who goes to Albany.... wow! :D

I'll take Starr over Union any time. We might be able to go into Starr and take Colgate by surprise a bit in game #1. No way that happens with Union. I'd like to see both CD teams in Albany too.

All fun stuff to contemplate but the only important agenda item this evening is to play another 3 strong periods at HFH. Strong in our end and strong in the neutral zone means the season goes on.

IIRC, including the most recent game, we are 0 for our last 10 trips to Starr.

Yes I know that. This has a lot to do with the fact that Colgate has been pretty good and we've been pretty bad for the last 10 years. This streak will not last much longer.

"We are advancing constantly and we're not interested in holding onto anything except THE ENEMY. We're going to hold onto him by the nose, and we're gonna kick him in the ***. We're gonna beat the hell out of him all the time, and we're gonna go through him like crap through a goose!"
