Boston University

Re: Boston University

As a rumor, it's old news, but, as the article suggests, with no NLI signed, not definitive.

Re: Boston University

Before the NLI can be signed, a release is needed. Has that been obtained?

Aside from the logistics part, this is the fourth or fifth big name player to X-fer over the last year or so...

Lam Twins
Thibault
Wakefield
Prough

Question is:
- Is this a new trend or something that also happened in years past.
(I can see lesser lights transferring for things like playing time etc, but to me stars transferring must be for different reasons).

As I've stated before, because Hockey East does not require the sit out rule, it seems to happen more frequently within that league. The Lam twins skirt the sit out rule because they made the olympic team and are taking online classes, which counts as being in school.

Re: Boston University

It's happening. Now that the cat is out of the bag I can tell yall that I've known about this for a couple of months. UNH has plenty of new recruits coming, none of which can replace her, but they're pretty good.

Head cases? ;)

Re: Boston University

Don't really care why, just glad it's happening :D .
This might be one of the key pieces that BU needs to truly start creating a national presence in WIH. Let's hope there is a strong incoming recruit class to bolster the arrival of Wakefield.

Re: Boston University

Anyone know why kohanchuk was in sunday's game and not watchorn? Shes not injured again is she? If kohanchuk made it back in time from Germany, I would've thought watchorn would have as well.

No, but I wondered the same.
