The only person/band on that list I enjoy listening to is #19.

Why the hell is Creed on that list (or Nickleback for that matter)?!

Re: Billboard Artists of the Decade

Starts off OK, then goes 0 for 19. Another reason for us to hurry and leave behind this ****heap of a decade.

Re: Billboard Artists of the Decade

Not a single "artist" (and I use the term extremely loosely) is worthy of the Top 100, let alone the Top 20.

Re: Billboard Artists of the Decade

The lost me right at number 1. Eminem? Really ...

Re: Billboard Artists of the Decade

Why is everyone surprised that an authority on the sales of crappy pop music would make a top 20 list full of crappy pop artists? The list pretty much sums up the artists that dominated the decade on pop radio, so as far as Billboard is concerned, its right on.

Any list is going to be skewed towards the readership of the publishing company/magazine, but if you're looking for a more balanced decade list, I'd recommend checking out Rolling Stone, Onion A.V. Club (see also: Best Metal of the Decade and Best Electronic Music of the Decade) or Pitchfork (That's their top 20, the full list is 200. They also do a top 200 track list. They're both here.)
