Glad this got started early today - I would have done so if it was not already going. Pretty sure Coach Smith will make a few changes for tonight if only to get a look at some new combinations. From my perspective, last night was mostly positive. i do not think we shall get pushed around this year and will certainly win our share of puck battles along the boards. passing and puck movement into the offensive zone needs a little work. Hard to judge the power play as we had only 2 chances but we could improve there also. over all though this team shows a lot of promise. let's see how part 2 goes tonight!!

I thought that the team showed a lot when they came out for the third period after a lackluster first two periods. If not for a questionable goal (not Marshall's best), we could have won that game.
I am always interested in the second game of a back to back weekend. You get to see how a coach thinks with the adjustments that are made and how the players respond. There is a lot to be learned by this game tonight.
 
RPI women showing more offence than we have seen in many years! Leading Union 7-1 after two periods, after having won in Schenectady yesterday 4-0.

i don't normally get to see their games but had the chance to watch the first two periods today. Who are these girls?

Beats me, Dr.D! A lot of talent that I am unfamiliar with, after the Covid off year. I am really looking forward to watching again, after 2 very depressing years. Admittedly, the Union goaltending and defence has been weak, but still, these Engineers have completed more passes and driven more often to the net in this one game than what I am accustomed to seeing.
